ChinaBazaar has zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, and fraud — by our team, by factories, and by buyers. No deal on MyFactory is worth a dishonest act.
Modest, transparent gifts and hospitality that are normal in business — a meal, a factory tour, a small sample — are acceptable. A gift is never acceptable if it is meant to influence a decision, if it is cash or a cash equivalent, or if it would embarrass you to disclose it. When in doubt, do not give or accept it.
If a personal interest could affect a business decision on MyFactory — for example, you own a stake in a factory you recommend — disclose it to the other party before proceeding.
Keep accurate records of your deals: quotes, orders, payments, and delivery documents. Do not keep off-the-books accounts, and do not create records you know to be false.
If you see or suspect a violation, write to info@ChinaBazaar.com and describe what happened, who was involved, and any evidence you have. Reports are kept confidential and shared only with the people who need to handle them. We do not retaliate against anyone who reports in good faith — and retaliation itself is a violation.
Violations may lead to removal of listings, suspension or termination of accounts, loss of membership without refund, and referral to the authorities where the law requires it.
